hey aspiring photographer; this one’s for you.

I remember being in your shoes.

I graduated college and got a 9-5 job at a mass media corporation. Ya girl was pumped. But my heart wasn’t at peace. I found myself working on Instagram and Facebook marketing content for my photography business that maybe wracked in a shoot or 2 everyone 2 months. I worked a super cool job that I was proud of but I had a strong urge in my heart to quit my 9-5 only after 6 months and pursue photography full time?! The thought of actually quitting was so scary BUT so exciting to say the least.

“I'm fresh out of school, young, and still live at home. If this totally fails I can find another job, but I may not have this opportunity again”

Thats what I would tell myself and everyone else when I told them my idea. I got a ton mixed responses for the longest time. I found myself watching hundreds of youtube videos to try and learn as much as I could on my slow times at work before I quit. I had this huge desire to learn as much as I could about photography, camera gear, being your own boss and succeeding in this industry. Let’s just say that its been almost a full year since I quit my full-time job office job and BOY AM I HAPPY.

I had no idea that mentorships were a thing until about May of 2019 when I starting finding a ton of experienced photographers on IG that offered this service! I always remember thinking I wanted do the same for other aspiring full-time photographers.So here I am, doing just that!
